Well I have a golden retriever, and shes about 6 years old now tee-hee :]. And i love her soooo much lol ^_^. Well i just want to know signs because it takes her a long time to get up, when shes laying down…And shes slightly over weight :]…Ok ok..She IS overweight haha about 100lbs. I mean is…is there signs if she has pains?…Or should we just take her to the vet?

Answer by Angel
Take her to the vet where they can measure her range of motion in her joints. They can also take x-rays if needed to see if there is severe osteoarthritis.
If you know your doggie needs to lose weight, then the kindest thing you can do is put her on a diet. No snacks, just food at mealtimes. Make sure they are measured and everyone knows that she is on a diet and when she has been fed. It’s kinder to her joints too for her to lose weight if she does have any form of pain/arthritis.
All the best.

What will chronic pain patients do for relief after vicodin, and percocet are pulled from production?
Question by Sociopath: What will chronic pain patients do for relief after vicodin, and percocet are pulled from production?
I just saw on the news and read on MSN the FDA advisory board is going to vote to pull all narcotic/combo w/ acetiminphen products… how will those with chronic pain get by?
Best answer:
Answer by TygrHawk
You can get pure Oxycodone, which is the main pain reliever in percocet, without the acetominophen. However, I believe you are wrong about them pulling those drugs off the market.
Edit: Okay, you’re not wrong — however it’s just an advisory board opinion. Just because they voted that way doesn’t mean the drugs are going to be banned.

Right chest pain causes?
Question by : Right chest pain causes?
I am a 24 year old non smoker.
The worse kind of chest pain I get is a squeezing pain right side above breast. When it happens get scared ,sweaty. The first time this happened was about 6 years ago. First time got it got on ground and cried was scary and didnt know what was happening.
I Also, i randomly get short, sharp pains same location which happens frequently this past year.
Lastly I get palpitations at-least every week. It feels like my heart “JUMPS” /Flutters.
I got an EKG A couple moths ago and was fine yet doctor didnt want to do anything more.Said could be gas.
I would like to do other tests to be sure.
I was thinking maybe could be from acid reflux /heartburn?
I cant live with this pain anymore. Makes me worry too much.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong or have had any similar experiences?

Journey into Silence 22/365 93)

Jack Ashley was a Labour MP of the "old school" left school at 14 years old, worked as a labourer, became a union organiser, then elected a town councillor in his home town of Widnes. His big break came when he went to Ruskin College, Oxford and then Cambridge, this opened up a whole new world to him and he became a producer first in radio and then in television.
In 1966 he was elected MP for Stoke on Trent, however the next year his world came crashing down when a failed ear operation left him totally deaf. However with the help of family and friends he fought back and became the first profoundly deaf MP. Jack Ashley had always had an interest in helping the disabled, following his own trauma he worked tirelessly for the disabled and disadvantaged.
Jack Ashley tells his story simply but very movingly, I relly enjoyed this book.

Leg pain & foot numbness?
Question by mandi: Leg pain & foot numbness?
I’ve been having problems with my legs for quite awhile now. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis, and my doctor thinks I may have that, lupis, or fibromyalgia. I’d just like to get some opinions on it? These are my symptoms, in both legs;
Ankle Pain (can barely walk sometimes)
Tingling and numbness in my toes
Nodules, looks like bumps under the skin on my ankle?
Swelling feet
morning stiffness
Shin bone pain
I have also lost a lot of my appetite lately, along with diarrhea and blood in my stool (occasionally) for some time now. I also got a huge bruise on the back of my calf for no reason, not too long ago. Any opinions would be wonderful.
(I’m 21, I have thrombophilia (high blood clotting factor) , & history of high BP. )
My doctor is getting my RF factor and thyroid checked, along with a test for lupis.

Using Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils in Emotional Healing
By Deirdre DeVane
Many people are not aware of the healing power of therapeutic-grade essential oils. 100 to 10,000 times more concentrated and more powerful than the solid form of a plant, an essential oil is the life blood of a fragrant plant that gives the plant the ability to grow, ward off infection, reproduce, regenerate cells, and sustain life.
The science of using essential oils to heal – aromatherapy – has little to do with air freshening, inhaling a fragrant aroma, or releasing fragrant aroma into the air, but is more about using various application methods such as topical application, inhaling, or ingestion to induce physical and mental healing with little or no negative side effects. One area of aromatherapy that has produced positive results is the use of essential oils in emotional healing and clearing emotional patterns.
To understand how essential oils assist in emotional healing, it is necessary to understand more about emotional memory. Emotional energy is taken into the body through energy centers (chakras) and then dispersed throughout the body along energy channels (meridians).
This energy is stored in organs or glands that have the same vibrational frequency as the emotion. (It is interesting to note that when the body resonates below a certain frequency, disease sets in.)
The memory of the emotional trauma is stored in the limbic lobe of the brain, and then the mind creates a belief about the emotional trauma and attaches it to the memory. The response to the emotional trauma gets stored in cellular memory throughout the body and becomes automatic. Moreover, these emotional responses become encoded within the DNA of cells passed on through subsequent generations. This is why many emotional patterns run in families. In addition, transplant recipients have often reported strange memories or desires after receiving organs from other people.
Essential oils are effective in emotional healing for several reasons. First, emotional memories are stored in the limbic lobe of the brain. The limbic lobe is the emotional control center from which all emotions emanate. As confirmed by a New York University study, only the sense of smell can access and trigger this portion of the brain. When essential oil molecules reach the human nose, within milliseconds, the molecules travel up to the nasal passage into the emotional control center.
