im wondering if anyone knows a good pain management doctor in the dfw area? I have chronic back pain and was being prescribed oxycodones by my last doctor that i have recently moved away from. I know now a day its hard to find a doctor who isnt relluctant to prescribe pills. Does anyone have a good doctor they know of that is cool about prescribing pills if you have proof of injury?

As long as you have your medical records and have a legit need for the pain meds what difference does it make if the doctor is ‘cool’ or not,,, most of them are just very careful anymore so cool has nothing to do with it,,,it’s not a matter of them being reluctent,, they just stopped giving opiates out to everyone that asked for them since so many people have shown that they only want them for abuse,, not use.
you shouldn’t have any problem at all if you have a medical condition that requires them and do not have a history of abusing them,,, here are two links that will help you find a new doctor in Dallas

BTW if you are just ‘shopping’ it’s 24-36 months with “Bubba’ as your cell mate in Texas now days
and in Texas don’t be surprised if after you get them that you are asked to take a pee test to make sure you have the opiates in your system,, for some reason Texas doctor seem to do that far more than they do in other places.
